The baby girl of Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox has a unique name. The "Lonely Road" rapper revealed that the craft of storytelling served as the inspiration for the name of their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker.
In an interview with Today on June 20, MGK, who gave birth to his daughter with Megan in March, stated, "I think her journey, you know, the five years of kind of her culmination of coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again." She is a remarkable tale. That is the meaning of saga.
The rapper continued, "That's the Nordic goddess of storytelling," adding that his Norwegian ancestry also served as inspiration for the name of their daughter. Thus, she has a bright future in storytelling.
As he revealed MGK about Saga's nickname, MGK offered another piece of his heart. He gave a special shoutout to his 15-year-old "baby girl," Casie, who shares a home with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon, before his Today Show appearance. Casie sent hand hearts to her father from her position at the side of the stage.
In March, Megan, 39, and MGK, 35, announced the birth of their daughter. The singer of "Bloody Valentine" formally introduced their baby girl to the world earlier this week with a charming video, although the couple initially kept quiet about her name.
In an Instagram video, Saga sat in front of MGK as he played the ukulele and cooed in a little rocker.
"Fox-Baker Saga Blade," MGK wrote on Instagram on June 17. “Thank you for the ultimate gift, @meganfox.”
It turns out that Saga's parents chose a portion of her name years before she was born. MGK and Megan, who is also the mother of children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, showed that they agreed on a middle name for their child in a resurfaced video.
"What would be your middle name, if I had to guess?" After MGK disclosed that he had no partner, Megan asked him in a 2021 GQ Couples Quiz. "Blade."
And with a quick addition, "That's what I want," MGK brightened.
