Taylor Swift made headlines with a surprise performance at the Tight End & Friends concert in Nashville on June 24, leaving both fans and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, in awe. The pop icon, 35, took the stage to perform her 2014 hit "Shake It Off" alongside country star Kane Brown during the opening night of Tight End University, a football camp co-founded by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen.

Kelce, 35, couldn't hide his excitement. Commenting on the NFL's Instagram post of Swift's performance, he affectionately wrote, "Turn me up Tay Tay!!!" The sweet nickname sparked admiration from fans, with one commenting, "Y'all are goals," and another noting, "I know a no. 1 Swiftie when I see one."

Wearing a black dress and her iconic red lipstick, Swift told the crowd, "We decided we were gonna perform that three minutes ago. We're up there, me and Kane are having some drinks, and we were thinking, 'How loud could this place get?'" The impromptu duet marked Swift's first performance of the hit since her Eras Tour in December.

Kane Brown humorously reflected on the night in an Instagram post, saying, "When you think you're the special guest BUT you're not 😂." Fellow artist Chase Rice lent Swift his acoustic guitar for the performance, which took place at Brooklyn Bowl and featured earlier acts like Jordan Davis, Sophia Scott, and Graham Barham.

Kelce, who was seen dancing and headbanging during the song, and Swift have been dating since summer 2023. The event also marked their unofficial "red carpet debut," with Swift in a green-and-white gingham set and Kelce in a white polo and beige shorts.

George Kittle praised Swift's presence, saying, "Taylor couldn't have been kinder, more nice... She was fantastic! For the venue that was maybe 1,000 people, that was the loudest 1,000 people I've ever heard."

Adding to the significance of the night, Swift recently purchased the master recordings of her first six albums. Kelce acknowledged the milestone during his "New Heights" podcast: "Shout out to Tay Tay. Just bought all of her music back so it's finally hers."
