In her relationship with Andrea Dalton, Tammy Slaton is moving forward. The 1,000-Pound Sisters star announced she is formally engaged two months after revealing she was in a new relationship.
"Me and my fiancé," Tammy stated on the A Creative Chaos podcast's June 24 episode. "We simply relax at home."
Naturally, host Hunter Ezell was intrigued by the word choice and asked, "Hold on, fiancée?"
As Hunter continued to point out her necklace, which read "Andrea," and held up her diamond ring to flaunt it for the cameras, Tammy couldn't help but smile. Although Tammy, 38, remained silent regarding the details of her engagement, she did reveal that she and her fiancé have already been together for three years.
Shortly after disclosing her relationship with Andrea in an April 1,000-lb episode, Tammy announced her engagement. Sisters.
In a confessional during the show, Tammy stated, "I have been seeing someone for the past couple of months, and it's going pretty well." "I am currently dating a woman."
Tammy acknowledged at the time that she had kept the relationship a secret in order to avoid criticism from her family, which includes sister Amy Slaton.
She went on in the confessional, "I haven't told my family because they're going to have something to say about it." "My family is farting so much that I believe they have more opinions than the entire world has a-holes."
"I'm not sure how my family will react when I tell them I'm seeing a woman," she said.
Naturally, Tammy was already outspoken about her sexual orientation when she revealed her pansexuality to her ex-boyfriend Jerry in a 2021 episode of her TLC show. Tammy posted another update on her preferences on social media in 2023, following the death of her husband, Caleb Willingham.
In a since-deleted TikTok from 2024, Tammy stated, "I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed." "I guess I'm a lesbian."
