On June 25, two law enforcement sources familiar with the matter told NBC News that the Oscar winner's residence in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles had been broken into. Although Pitt wasn't home at the time, the sources claimed that three individuals scaled a fence and entered through a front window.

Although the spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department did not name the property's owner or occupant, they did confirm to the outlet that a break-in happened in Los Feliz at 10:30 p.m. on June 25.

According to police, the burglary suspects looted the house and stole an undetermined quantity of other items. It was not revealed how much the stolen goods were worth.

As Pitt continues his global press tour for Formula One, word of the break-in breaks out. The 61-year-old saw the world premiere in New York on June 16 and then went to a screening in the United Kingdom on June 23. At the London event, Pitt reconnected with Tom Cruise, his former costar from Interview With the Vampire, who had previously collaborated on Top Gun: Maverick with F1 director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. "Great night at the movies with my friends!!" After their meeting, Cruise posted something on Instagram. "You guys crushed it!!"

At both premieres, Pitt was also joined by his girlfriend of nearly two years, Ines de Ramon, who had been by his side throughout the making of the Formula One racing movie.

“No, dude, it’s not that calculated,” Brad told GQ in May, refuting rumors that he was bringing the jewelry designer along on set to create buzz about F1. “If you’re living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you’re living with making those kinds of calculations"

He added, "No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.” Image
