Charlize Theron believes that the world of online dating is more fantastical than the Wasteland. In fact, the Mad Max: Fury Road star revealed details about her romantic life, such as how she didn't have the best experience using the well-known celebrity dating app Raya.
In an episode of Watch What Happens Live on June 26, Charlize said to Andy Cohen, "I am, [but] I don't do anything with it." "I went on two dates after a friend put me on it, and after that, I kind of thought, 'Every guy has a Burning Man picture, and they're CEO of, like, nothing. Or like a fitness…”
The 49-year-old said it's even more annoying—furious, even—when a suitor openly lies about their interests, even though those careers seem to be the norm there.
The Atomic Blonde star went on, "Then you meet with them and they're not [a CEO]." They simply state it clearly. Why did you wear that on your thing, then? I don't like it, no.
Charlize, the mother of daughters Jackson, 11, and August, 9, has previously opened up about her dating life. The Oscar winner has actually admitted in the past that she has given up her emotions to keep some romances going.
In January 2021, she said on The Drew Barrymore Show, "I was very fortunate that I was raised by this very strong mom." "Being around her as a child always gave me this strength. Nevertheless, I attempted to minimize myself in a relationship in my 20s and early 30s because I believed that was the main issue.
Now that she has mastered the art of "living her full potential," Charlize describes those moments as "ridiculous." Additionally, she is no longer considering unhealthy relationships because she is embracing her voice.
