Travis Kelce has denied accusations that he and Taylor Swift deliberately seek the spotlight. Speaking on the Bussin' With the Boys podcast released July 1, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end emphasized that their public appearances are simply part of enjoying their relationship.

"We're having fun with it, man, being a couple," Kelce said. "It gets thrown out there like we're trying to seek attention every now and then. We're just enjoying life and having fun, going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world."

Kelce and Swift have been spotted together several times in recent months, including at the Stanley Cup Finals in Florida and date nights in New York City. Swift also made a surprise appearance at Kelce's "Tight Ends & Friends" event on June 24 during Tight End University in Nashville.

Despite their openness, Kelce admitted he's still adjusting to the constant paparazzi attention that comes with dating one of the world's most famous pop stars. "That's probably the only thing I didn't really grasp until you're in it," he said. "Like I'm just playing golf and all of a sudden in the trees, there's a f------ guy with a camera."

Swift has also commented on the intense media scrutiny. In a December 2023 interview with TIME, she said, "I don't know how they know what suite I'm in. There's a camera, like, a half-mile away... I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads." She added, "I'm just there to support Travis."

The couple have learned to cope with the media frenzy together. In January 2024, Kelce told reporters, "As long as we're happy, we can't listen to anything that's outside noise. That's all that matters."

Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes echoed the sentiment, telling NBC Sports, "He's still Travis Kelce... he treats every single person like they're his best friend. It hasn't been any different."

Despite the fame, Kelce looks forward to Swift attending more Chiefs games, noting, "She tried to get to as many [games] as she could last year... We'll have Tay representing up at Arrowhead [Stadium]."
