Nats Getty and Gigi Gorgeous are discussing their new journey. The pair announced their separation after almost six years of marriage.
In a statement released on July 3, a representative told E! News, "Gigi Gorgeous and Nats Getty confirm they have decided to part ways amicably and officially file for divorce." "While they have decided to end their marriage, they remain friends and have the [utmost] love and respect for each other."
Citing irreconcilable differences, Nats filed for divorce from the YouTuber, whose true name is Giselle Loren Lazzarato, with a separation date of February 27, 2025.
The pair had been vocal about wanting children for a long time before getting married in 2019, around three years after they first met.
Gigi disclosed last year that she and Nats had successfully produced six embryos during the IVF procedure.
"We've always been really open," the 33-year-old said to Laverne Cox of E! News during the 2024 People's Choice Awards. "We have six embryos that are on ice, and we could technically have six kids tomorrow, which is crazy."
"I don't think we're gonna do six kids tomorrow," Gigi clarified. "I think we're maybe gonna do, like, four kids tomorrow."
Nats, the great-grandson of oil magnate John Paul Getty, has filed for divorce after coming out as transgender and non-binary four years ago. He shared on Instagram that he has spent his life not aligning with his body and confined by an outward appearance that doesn't match his mind or soul. After recognizing his authentic self, Nats decided to start his physical transition and get top surgery, which he believes will give him the chest he has always dreamed of. He shared a message to others on the road to self-discovery, stating that it can be a long process and that there is no need to rush it. He encourages others to allow themselves the time and space to find who they truly are, despite the highs and lows. Nats feels that the process is beautiful and that he now has a new community to embrace.
