Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli have officially ended their relationship after nearly four years of dating on and off. A source confirmed to People on August 7 that the couple "recently decided to call it quits."
The Euphoria actor, 28, and influencer, 25, were first romantically linked in late 2021 after being spotted having coffee in Los Angeles, just a month after Elordi's breakup with model Kaia Gerber. Though initial reports were conflicting, some labelling them as "casually dating" while others denied a relationship entirely, the pair were confirmed to be seeing each other by March 2022.
Their relationship was marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations. They reportedly split for the first time in August 2022, with a source telling Us Weekly that while the two "enjoyed spending time together," they weren't looking for anything serious. Elordi, the source added, was "completely focused" on his career, while Giannulli was "single, having fun, and living it up."
Despite the ups and downs, the couple rekindled their romance by mid-2023. They vacationed together in Italy and spent time with Giannulli's parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, in Idaho and Sardinia. In July 2023, People reported the two were "getting serious" again, and a January 2024 update claimed they were still going strong.
Giannulli, known for keeping her personal life private, never addressed the relationship publicly or posted about Elordi on social media. Elordi, who doesn't use Instagram, also remained tight-lipped. When asked about his love life in a 2023 GQ interview, he responded, "I appreciate you giving me the space."
Although there had been speculation surrounding their relationship status for months, Olivia seemed to quietly support Elordi in April 2024 by liking an Instagram post from his sister about his latest project.
Reps for both Elordi and Giannulli have yet to comment on the breakup.
