Margot Robbie has returned to her role as a movie star. Almost a year after she and husband Tom Ackerley welcomed a baby boy, whose name has not yet been revealed, the Oscar-nominated actress returned to the red carpet.
At the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on August 20, Margot posed with Colin Farrell, her co-star from A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, as the two celebrated their impending romantic fantasy.
With her signature blonde hair and strappy black heels, the 35-year-old looked stunning in a black, fitted minidress. Colin wore blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black cardigan for a more laid-back style.
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is not only Margot's first appearance on a big screen since 2023's Barbie, but it's also her first such event since becoming a mother.
The Wolf of Wall Street actress was seen filming Emerald Fennell's upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation back in March, suggesting that she is immediately returning to work after the birth of her son.
However, Margot finds ways to keep her baby boy near her even when she's out and about. While swimming in Australia in April, the new mother actually flaunted a lovely piece of jewelry: a gold necklace that read "mama."
Margot and Tom, who are married and also producers through their company LuckyChap, have also rarely been subtle when it comes to gushing about their own love story, much like the subliminal allusions to their son.
In 2016, the year of their marriage, she admitted to Vogue, "We were friends for so long." Despite my constant love for him, I believed that he would never return my feelings. Margot, don't make it strange. Telling him that you like him is foolish.
However, she clarified, "I was like, 'Of course we're together,' when it happened. Nothing has ever made sense before, but this makes so much sense."
