The new cookbook even features a nod to Tom. On the cover, cans of non-alcoholic beer from Tom's Bero brand are visible in a box while Sam enjoys a meal beside it. Sam later reflected on the impact of Tom's lifestyle choices, telling Tatler magazine, "I think Tom's sobriety journey has really taught me a lot, because in Britain we have a massive culture of drinking. What Tom's done has been incredibly beneficial for him, and anything that's good for him, I'm on board with."
Sam admitted he was initially skeptical about his brother's business venture. "When he told me he was launching a non-alcoholic beer... non-alcoholic beers didn't really do it for me. And as a chef with a fairly decent palate, when it came to trying the beer, I was going to be very honest with Tom. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised with how bloody delicious they are," he said.
The chef also revealed that some of Tom's favorite recipes from the book include his katsu curry and sticky pork bao bun. He noted to The Times that Zendaya, Tom's fiancée, has also sampled his dishes. Because Zendaya follows a plant-based diet, Sam made sure to include a variety of vegetarian options in the book. "I'm especially proud of the veggie section," Sam explained. "Zendaya has a plant-based diet, and I sent those recipes Tom's way as he was on dinner duty while she was making a movie in Boston. He went through them one by one and really enjoyed them."
