As of yet, Chase Chrisley is not anticipating a wedding. Jodi Laine Fournerat, his girlfriend of two years, did, in fact, recall why she turned down the Chrisley Knows Best alum's proposal.
"Hey, whenever I get out of the shower, we need to talk," Chase said while he was taking a shower. And I thought, "Oh my god, all right." On the September 16 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, Jodi, 30, told Chase's grandmother, Faye Chrisley. He exits the bedroom, instructs me to shut the door, and then sits on the bed. He begins by saying, 'You know how much I love you, right?' And I asked, "What did you do?" right away.
"As soon as I wake up, he leaves the bed, and he starts to pull something out of his pocket,” Jodi recalled. “And I knew immediately, so I turned around so that I wouldn’t see the ring or anything. And I was like, ‘Chase, get up.’ He was kneeling right there and trying to continue with his little speech.”
Jodi acknowledged When she said, "We're not doing this right here; we're not doing this right now," Chase became agitated. But she told him that all she wanted for the moment was to be memorable.
"I'm not turning you down," I'm like, she remembered telling Chase. "I'm rejecting the environment."
Faye, who goes by Nanny Faye, concurred and said, "That's kind of crazy."
Jodi, who has been dating the Growing Up Chrisley alum since 2023, believes that Chase's follow-up proposal will be far superior.
"Anything is preferable to that," she stated. "It can only get better from here."
In a side interview, she added, "And just so we're clear." Because I didn't want to accept Chase's proposal, I didn't say no. I simply rejected the environment and the entire scenario of him trying to pop the question in our bedroom.”
His parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are a little more concerned because they don't have a relationship with the influencer, even though Jodi and Chase have Faye's approval.
In a different interview with Julie, Todd stated, "I want him to have a wonderful, beautiful personal life with a relationship that feeds his soul." That will make a fantastic mother to his kids. She will make a wonderful wife. It's important that I like the person.
The patriarch of the family went on, "I don't know, Jodi." "Jodi was there the day we arrived home, but I believe I only spoke to her for five minutes." We haven't really communicated with Jodi at all.
Jodi says she thinks Chase's problems with his family, especially his 28-year-old sister Savannah, have affected how they see her.
In her own interview, she said, "I feel like things are said about me without really knowing me, and whenever other members of the family don't like him, I'm linked to that." "Perhaps they don't agree with Chase, so I'm not what they want me to be or whatever."
Jodi is hopeful, though, that she will get to know the Chrisleys before Chase pops the question once more.
She proclaimed, "I'm excited to get to know the rest of his family." "And supporting Chase and going along for the ride."
