On Sunday, September 21, the Stranger Things star marked her first wedding anniversary by sharing a heartfelt Instagram post. The 21-year-old actress posted a black-and-white throwback photo from their wedding day with the caption, "1 year married 🤍. I love being your wife."
Jake, 23, shared his own tribute on Instagram, posting a photo from their big day with the message, "One year in the books, many more to go. I love you so much, my beautiful wife. Happy anniversary đź’•."
The couple first tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2024, with only close family present, including Jake's famous father, Jon Bon Jovi, and his wife, Dorothea. They later held a larger celebration in September 2024 at Villa Cetinale in Italy, surrounded by friends and loved ones. Brown later shared images of her two stunning bridal gowns, captioning them, "Forever and always, your wife."
During a March episode of Call Her Daddy, Brown described her wedding day as feeling like "lightning in a bottle," admitting she remembered every detail of the vows and ceremony. She laughed as she recalled that guests remained standing during the entire ceremony because no one told them to sit down. "I just didn't care. It's part of the story you get to tell," she said.
Just weeks before their anniversary, the couple revealed they had welcomed a baby girl through adoption. In a joint Instagram post on August 21, they announced, "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3."
The couple has kept details about their daughter private but recently shared a glimpse into their new family life. On September 1, Brown posted a photo of Jake walking toward a plane while carrying their baby in a white blanket.
According to a source, Brown has long dreamed of becoming a young mother. "Even before they were married, she often spoke about her wish to be a young mom," the insider said. "Jake was always on the same page. They're in it together."
Their anniversary marks not only a year of marriage but also the beginning of their journey as parents.
