On September 25, the Splitsville actress made an appearance at the 2025 Zurich Film Festival, almost baring everything in one of her most revealing outfits to date.
Wearing a custom blue sheer Gucci gown, the 35-year-old attracted attention as she accepted the Golden Eye Award for her contributions in film. Kate Young styled Dakota's ensemble, which included a bellowing skirt over a sheer bodice that ended just above her waist.
As she accepted her award, Dakota unabashedly sported the look while posing for photographers both inside the stage and on the red carpet. Dakota, who is no stranger to stunning appearances, wore another sheer Gucci dress a few weeks prior to her most recent ensemble.
The 50 Shades of Grey actress wore a floor-length sheer black gown with lace accents when she attended the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women dinner in New York City on September 11. Dakota wore a matching black bra and underwear set underneath her outfit to keep things a little more subdued.
The actress recently had a near-miss after nearly exposing her upper body during her most recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, even though her bold appearance was intentional this time.
She said, "Oh, God," as she arrived on set wearing a short black dress with a plunging neckline.
As she straightened her neck, Dakota continued, "This was the wrong outfit."
But the fashion expert quickly told the host, "I'll keep my posture real good," as a simple fix for her fashion faux pas.
