Michelle Pfeiffer transitioned into the newest stage of her life with ease.
The 67-year-old Grease 2 star disclosed that she recently became a first-time grandmother, which has affected the amount of time she is willing to dedicate to her career.
During the SmartLess podcast's September 29 episode, Michelle stated, "I don't have the time or desire to go that deep for that long and not be present." "I may declare on this show that I became a grandmother last year, and I know I have a limited amount of time left."
The three-time Oscar nominee, who is married to David E. Kelley and has two children, John, 31, and Claudia, 32, did not disclose which of her children had a baby, but she did add
Even though Michelle admitted that she didn't anticipate becoming a grandparent last year, she is more eager to fulfill this role than any other.
The Hairspray actress, who has four projects in development according to IMDb, added, "I wouldn't have taken on so much work if I had known that I was going to be a grandmother, but I've enjoyed everything and I'm really grateful." I adore every one of these endeavors.
Michelle may be unfamiliar with the title of "grandma," but this is not the first time her family life has influenced her professional choices. After all, when she took on new films when they were younger, she kept John and Claudia in mind.
In 2017, she stated, "I'm an empty nester now," in an interview. "My passion for acting has never diminished. On the movie set, I feel completely at home. To be honest, when I'm working, I'm a more balanced person. However, regardless of whether it coincided with the kids' schedule, I was fairly cautious about where I shot and how long I was gone.
Michelle acknowledged that "I became so picky that I was unhirable."
