Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appear to have taken their rumored romance to the next level. The two were spotted sharing a kiss and embracing aboard a luxury yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday, Oct. 11, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
Perry, 40, looked relaxed in a sleek black swimsuit while Trudeau, 53, kept it casual in jeans and sunglasses. At one point, Trudeau was seen wrapping his arms around the "California Gurls" singer as she leaned in close. The pair laughed, cuddled, and soaked up the sun in a series of affectionate moments that quickly went viral online.
The sighting comes months after Perry and Trudeau were first linked in July, when they were photographed walking her dog before dining together at Montreal's Le Violon. Two days later, Trudeau was spotted at Perry's Lifetimes Tour concert at the Bell Centre, smiling and nodding along to her hits.

Both recently ended long-term relationships. Perry announced her split from actor Orlando Bloom in June after six years together.
