Miley Cyrus is turning heads with a bold new look — and an even bolder story to tell.

The Flowers singer, 32, appeared almost unrecognizable in her Vogue France November 2025 cover shoot, debuting short, curly blonde hair styled in the spirit of a 1960s Hollywood bombshell. Though the transformation had fans convinced she chopped and bleached her hair, it was actually a wig crafted by stylist Shay Ashual for the glamorous shoot photographed by Mario Sorrenti.

Cyrus posed in couture pieces from Balenciaga, Valentino, and Fendi, embracing a dramatic, vintage-inspired aesthetic that quickly got fans talking. "That ain't the Miley I know," one fan joked online, while others compared her "Annie-style gone Moulin Rouge" curls to a Parisian twist on classic glam.

In her interview with Vogue France, the Grammy-winning artist reflected on her evolution over the past few years. "The last five years have been pivotal. Since 2021, I've kept evolving, but without struggle," she shared. "I've always been who I wanted to be. It's by staying true to who you are that you can stand out from the crowd."

She also revealed that her mother, Tish Cyrus, remains her creative muse. "When I write, I always think of her, and she's the first person I play my songs for. We're each other's muse in a way," Miley said.

Cyrus went on to discuss her admiration for rock legends like Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, and David Bowie, crediting their individuality and theatricality as ongoing inspiration for her artistry.

But one of the most touching moments in the feature came when Cyrus opened up about her friendship with Beyoncé, with whom she collaborated on the hit "II Most Wanted" and performed alongside during the Cowboy Carter Tour in Paris. "Beyoncé is definitely the best, period," she said. "She gave me a bracelet that I never take off... And trust me, I know how to use it when I need to. If someone tells me I was wrong or did this or that wrong, I say, 'Well, you know what, it doesn't matter. Beyoncé gave me this bracelet, look!'"

The Vogue France November issue featuring Cyrus hits newsstands on October 23.
