Bunnie Xo has spoken out after facing backlash for standing by her husband, country singer Jelly Roll, following his recent revelation that he cheated on her several years ago.

During an appearance on the Human School podcast, Jelly Roll, 40, described the affair as "one of the worst moments of my adulthood," admitting that it happened at a time when he was surrounded by negative influences. He said, "I did a lot of work to repair that relationship. The repair has been special. We're stronger than we could have ever been." Despite the pain it caused, he added that he is "proud of who we are today."

The couple, who married in 2016, briefly split in 2018 before reconciling. Bunnie later referenced the breakup in a TikTok video, writing that their "castle in the sand had to crumble so we could rebuild on solid ground." They renewed their vows in 2023 at the same Las Vegas chapel where they first tied the knot.

After Jelly Roll's confession went public, one social media user criticized Bunnie for taking him back, saying they could no longer "look up to" her. The Dumb Blonde podcast host, whose real name is Alyssa DeFord, directly responded to the comment on Instagram.

"It actually takes a stronger woman to face pain head-on, do the work, and rebuild with the man she loves — instead of running or gossiping," she wrote. "Growth isn't weakness, it's grace. But not everyone's built for that kind of strength. I pray you never have to feel that pain because you're judging another woman's life."

Bunnie also revealed that she will share more about the experience in her upcoming memoir Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, set for release in February 2026.

Today, the couple appears stronger than ever, focusing on their music careers and future plans together. In 2023, they announced they were undergoing IVF treatment, sharing their hopes of growing their family.
