Dove Cameron and Måneskin lead singer Damiano David are officially engaged after two years together, according to multiple reports.
The couple was recently photographed strolling arm-in-arm through Sydney, Australia, where the 29-year-old Descendants star appeared to be wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand. TMZ, which first reported the news on October 29, noted that the "massive rock" seen in the photos is indeed an engagement ring. Both stars were dressed in sleek all-black outfits, exuding effortless style as they smiled and held hands.
Cameron, chic in a black coat and trousers, was seen gazing affectionately at David, 26, who kept his signature rockstar edge with a cigarette in hand. The sighting came shortly after the pair celebrated their second anniversary earlier this month, marking the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post.
"The 2 best years of my life. I am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it," Cameron wrote, sharing intimate photos and clips of their time together. "I love you in a way no words could ever express, but I will never stop trying. Buon anniversario amore mio." David replied, calling their relationship "the best part of being alive."
The couple's romance began in 2023, after Cameron attended Måneskin's concert at Madison Square Garden. They later confirmed their relationship publicly in February 2024, making their red carpet debut at Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy Gala, where they were seen sharing affectionate moments.
Cameron, known for her dual role in Liv and Maddie and as the lead in Disney's Descendants films, previously dated and was engaged to her co-star Ryan McCartan from 2013 to 2016. David, who rose to global fame after Måneskin's 2021 Eurovision win, is known for his charismatic stage presence and bold fashion choices.
In a 2024 interview, Cameron described her now-fiancé as "a 1950s gentleman, angel, teddy bear," adding, "He's the best person I've met in my life." She explained that while their relationship might have appeared fast, it was built on shared sensitivity and understanding.
