Leighton Meester, widely recognized for her role as Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, has hinted at a long-awaited return to music more than a decade after her debut album Heartstrings. During an interview I love you yes you could do your sleepingat the I Love LA premiere, Meester shared that she feels ready to create new music, though she acknowledged that the process is demanding.

The 39-year-old actress has spent recent years focusing on television projects, including Netflix's Nobody Wants This and her upcoming HBO Max comedy I Love LA, where she stars alongside Rachel Sennott and Josh Hutcherson. Reflecting on her first day on set, Meester humorously recalled filming a scene with a stripper that lasted all night, describing it as a memorable start to the production.

Beyond her career, Meester is embracing family life with her husband, actor Adam Brody, and their two children, Arlo and a younger son. With Halloween around the corner, she expressed excitement about decorating and celebrating with her kids, calling the holiday "extra special and sweet."

Fans have long wondered why Meester stepped away from music after Heartstrings in 2014. In a previous interview, she revealed that she was dissatisfied with her vocal performances and sought a more authentic artistic direction. Now, with renewed confidence and creative energy, she appears ready to explore her musical side once again.

While no official announcement has been made regarding new releases, Meester's fans remain eager for her comeback. Her blend of introspective lyricism and indie-pop sound once earned her critical praise, and many hope her next project will reflect her growth as both an artist and a person. The first episode of I Love LA premieres November 2 on HBO Max, and as her acting career thrives, her musical revival may soon follow, offering audiences a fresh glimpse into her evolving artistry.
