Millie Bobby Brown allegedly accused her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour of harassment and bullying during production of the hit Netflix series, according to a report that has sent shockwaves through Hollywood.
The Daily Mail claims the 21-year-old actress filed an extensive complaint before filming began on the fifth and final season. Sources told the outlet that Brown's submission contained "pages and pages" of accusations that triggered a months-long internal investigation.
While the outcome of that inquiry remains unclear, insiders say Harbour, 50, faced formal questioning but was not accused of any sexual misconduct. The report adds that Brown continued filming the series finale under the watch of a personal representative assigned to her on set.
Neither Netflix nor representatives for Brown or Harbour have commented publicly on the allegations.
In the series, Brown portrays the telekinetic lead character Eleven, while Harbour plays her adoptive father, police chief Jim Hopper, a relationship that has often mirrored a protective bond off-screen. In past interviews, Harbour described feeling "deeply protective" of Brown, having met her when she was only 12 during the show's first season in 2016.
The timing of the report coincides with Harbour's recent split from British singer Lily Allen, his wife of four years. Their February breakup, reportedly sparked by infidelity, has drawn renewed scrutiny after Allen's new album West End Girl appeared to reference betrayal and double lives.
Despite the controversy, a Netflix source insisted that the show's long-awaited finale, premiering November 26, will go ahead as planned. "Nothing is going to overshadow this," the insider said. "Millions have waited years for the ending."
The same source noted that Netflix "never comments" on internal investigations but added, "The fact they haven't denied it speaks volumes."
Stranger Things has been a flagship title for Netflix since debuting in 2016, credited with catapulting the streamer into mainstream success. Yet as the series prepares to conclude, behind-the-scenes tension now threatens to cast a shadow over the beloved sci-fi drama's final chapter.
