Timothée Chalamet is beginning to think about what kind of man, and father, he wants to be. The 29-year-old actor, who has been dating Kylie Jenner for two years, offered a rare glimpse into his thoughts on family and balance while speaking to Vogue in a new feature published November 6.

Asked whether fatherhood might be part of his future, the Dune star admitted the thought crosses his mind. "That could be on the radar," he said carefully, reflecting on how the idea of raising a family both fascinates and humbles him. He added that while fame can pull people in different directions, family often brings them back to what truly matters.

Chalamet shared that he once watched an interview with a celebrity who bragged about avoiding children to focus on personal freedom, a statement that left him uneasy. "It just felt so bleak," he recalled, noting that he views creating and nurturing life as an essential part of the human story.

Despite the curiosity surrounding his relationship with Jenner, Chalamet maintained his usual discretion. "I don't say that with any fear," he explained when asked about their romance. "I just don't have anything to say." His calm stance on privacy echoes a pattern that has defined his rise, success paired with restraint.

For Chalamet, excellence doesn't have to mean sacrifice. He recalled growing up admiring a friend's parents whose relationship showed him "excellence can exist without it being arduous." The actor credits mentors like Dune director Denis Villeneuve for reinforcing that lesson. "He's a total master of his craft and a great family man," Chalamet said, recalling a moment on set when Villeneuve was surprised by his son's visit and broke into tears.

As he continues to balance ambition with introspection, Chalamet seems to be searching for harmony, the space where art, love, and family coexist. While the future remains unwritten, one thing is clear: the actor's compass points toward both creative greatness and genuine connection.
