Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka has proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Tolami Benson, officially taking him "off the market." According to The Sun, the romantic event at a top London hotel "swept his girlfriend off her feet," continuing Saka's successful streak both on and off the pitch.
"Bukayo went all out for the proposal – and the ring he chose is absolutely enormous. He’d organised a special night at a top London hotel and proposed there. It was incredibly special and Tolami was totally blown away," said the source.
The pair have been together since 2020.
Tolami is best known as the girlfriend of football star Saka. She was born on December 3, 2000, in England, where she pursued her education.
But beyond that, she’s built her name as a model and social media influencer, working with top brands in the United Kingdom Tolami also works in public relations and recently started a new job as a Senior Planning Executive at Zenith, a company that helps businesses improve their return on investment.
She shares Nigerian roots with Saka and is believed to be related to Coco Benson, a Swiss-Nigerian singer and granddaughter of Nigerian music legend Bobby Benson.
Tolami has over 204,000 followers on Instagram and often posts about her travels and stylish fashion choices. Her fiancé, meanwhile, is leading Arsenal's charge for multiple trophies this season.
The Gunners have been on a different level this season under Mikel Arteta. They have a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League table. They face second-placed Chelsea in a London derby this weekend.
Arsenal beat Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in the Champions League to take control of the league phase standings.
Saka has so far chipped in this season with six goals and one assist in 16 appearances across competitions.
