Kim Kardashian learned she has what her doctor called "low brain activity" after undergoing a new scan on the latest episode of The Kardashians, a finding delivered as she continues juggling a high-pressure schedule, major family transitions and renewed preparation for the California bar exam.

In Season 7, Episode 6, the 45-year-old reality star visited Dr. Daniel Amen alongside Scott Disick to review fresh imaging meant to evaluate her overall brain health. Amen, a celebrity doctor known for his brain-scan methodology and previous appearances on the show, walked Kardashian through her results after the pair joked about their calm exteriors in stressful situations.

Kardashian initially lit up when Amen told her she had a "beautiful brain" and showed no elevated risk for Alzheimer's disease. According to Amen, her scan did not reflect high anxiety, depression or overwhelming emotional strain. "You are extraordinary in being positive," he told her, a comment she repeated proudly in a confessional.

But Amen then pointed out several "holes" in the visual imaging, which he clarified were areas of low activity, particularly in the frontal lobes. "The front part of your brain is less active than it should be," he said, explaining that reduced activity can make it more difficult to manage stress, an issue that matters for someone preparing to take the bar while navigating multiple personal pressures.

Kardashian pushed back with disbelief. "That just can't be, not accepting," she said, insisting the results didn't match how she sees herself.

Amen suggested the findings likely tie back to chronic stress, something Kardashian has acknowledged throughout the season. She has cited co-parenting with her ex-husband Ye, participating in the Paris robbery trial and the ongoing strain of studying for the bar as major contributors. Earlier this month, she also revealed she failed the exam again and will need to retake it.

Kardashian said she plans to follow a more intentional stress-management approach. "I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have some s--t to do this summer," she said.

Her scan results also came just days after she disclosed that doctors recently found an aneurysm that appears to have been present "for years," adding another layer to her health concerns.

New episodes of The Kardashians drop Thursdays on Hulu at 12 a.m. ET.
