The announcement came with black-and-white Polaroid-style shots of Graham posing with her bump as Wood stood close, holding her and resting beside her stomach. In several of the images, Graham lifted her sweater to reveal her bare bump while Wood affectionately leaned in.
The pregnancy news follows a celebratory year for the couple. Graham and Wood recently held their second wedding ceremony, two years after privately marrying at home in Los Angeles in October 2023. They had been best friends for years before officially tying the knot. After the ceremony, she posted photos in a Jean Paul Gaultier dress and headpiece, captioning the images, “The house of @jeanpaulgaultier. Forever and ever. Amen. 🙏🏽.” She later shared more photos from the event, including the two of them laughing during the ceremony, dancing with loved ones, and even riding a mechanical bull at the reception.
Graham’s friends and former Vampire Diaries castmates quickly filled her comments with congratulations. Candice King wrote, “Ahhhh congratulations!!!!!!,” while Nathalie Kelley added, “What a lucky soul to have you as her mommy.” Nikki Reed also shared her excitement, saying, “Ahhhhhhh!!!! Congratulations!! Now I’m thinking about all of our special conversations from this summer and my heart is.” Paul Wesley’s fiancée, Natalie Kuckenburg, added a simple, “Congrats.” Graham later responded, “Thank you guys for all the love!!!.”
Many fans celebrated the idea that her beloved Vampire Diaries character, Bonnie Bennett, was finally getting a “happy ending.”
Graham and Wood have been open about why they chose to celebrate their marriage a second time. She previously explained, “When we initially eloped, it was incredibly private — we had someone come to the house and marry us with only our dogs as witnesses.” She said they wanted another ceremony so they could “celebrate our love surrounded by our family and friends.”
With their growing family, the couple now begins a new chapter—one they’ve made clear they’re more than ready for.
