In a surprising announcement that has shocked fans of the Netflix reality hit, Love Is Blind Season 3 stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux have revealed their decision to divorce after four years of marriage. The couple, who became a fan-favorite success story from the Dallas-based season, shared the difficult news in a joint statement posted to Alexa’s social media.
“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” the statement read. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
Alexa and Brennon met and got engaged sight-unseen in the infamous pods of the social experiment and tied the knot on camera in July 2021. Their journey stood out to viewers for their relatively smooth transition from the pods to the altar, successfully navigating differences in lifestyle and family background. They were one of only two couples from Season 3 to say “I do” and had been widely celebrated as one of the show’s enduring matches.
The couple’s separation comes a little over a year after they welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, in July 2024. The joint statement emphasized their continued dedication to their family, noting, “While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”
Court documents obtained by media outlets indicate that Brennon filed for divorce in November, citing the marriage as “insupportable” due to a “conflict of personalities” preventing a reasonable expectation of reconciliation. Despite the legal process, the former couple’s public statement maintained a tone of mutual respect and a focus on their co-parenting relationship.
The announcement marks the end of all remaining marriages from the third season of Love Is Blind. Alexa and Brennon concluded their message by asking for privacy for themselves and their family as they move forward.
