Pat Finn, the veteran actor known for his work on popular television series including The Middle and Friends, has passed away at the age of 60. He died at his home in Los Angeles on December 24, surrounded by his family.

pair lived together in Chicago and performed at the renowned Second City comedy troupe, an experience that helped launch Finn's professional acting career.
Over the years, Finn built a strong career in both television and film. He is best remembered for his recurring role as Bill Norwood on The Middle, which he played for seven years. He also made appearances on other well-known TV shows such as Seinfeld, That '70s Show, and Murphy Brown. In addition to his television work, Finn appeared in films including Dude, Where's My Car?, Love You, Beth Cooper, and It's Complicated, while also delivering a memorable performance on Friends.
