Chantel Everett will end the year with a new relationship status.

Months after revealing that she was dating Ashley Bowen, whom she met through her brother offscreen, the 90 Day Fiancé star revealed that her girlfriend proposed just before the holidays.

"I have something to show you guys," Chantel said alongside Ashley in a Dec. 23 post on the reality show's Instagram account, holding up her hand adorned with a large oval engagement ring. Ashley jumped in to say, "Guess what?" before the two said together, "We're engaged!"

Following the sweet video, a photo of Ashley getting down on one knee during the December 17 proposal surfaced.

"Oh my goodness, this is such a happy time for us, and I wanted to keep y'all updated," Chantel continued. "Stay tuned for more."

They then displayed the stunning view of Helen, Ga., behind them, where their relationship milestone occurred.

"This is where she proposed," Chantel explained, and Ashley added, "It's really nice out there, right?"

For the couple, their proposal was as unique as their relationship.

"Our love feels as if it were written in the stars. "So romantic, so authentic, so raw," the couple told People in a statement published on December 23. "We enjoy that about ourselves. We enjoy that aspect of our love story."

Chantel first appeared on television in 2016, when she appeared on 90 Day Fiancé with Pedro Jimeno, whom she married but divorced in 2022. The Atlanta-based nurse, who has appeared on several spinoff shows since her debut on TLC, first revealed her relationship with Ashley on 90 Day: Hunt for Love in May, when Chantel revealed she had kissed a female friend.

"Right before I came to the resort, something happened with one of my friends," she explained during the episode. "I was hanging out with my friend Ashley, and we were drinking wine, and she explained to me that she has feelings for me that are actually romantic."

She added, "Well, one thing led to another, and Ashley kissed me. I almost fainted, I was so shocked, and I really liked it. It felt like my first kiss ever."

Three months later, she officially came out to her co-stars on the reality show before leaving to pursue the relationship. As she stated in an August episode, "Now, finally, I am officially public about my sexuality, and it feels great."
