Dakota Johnson is closing out 2025 by sparking fresh romance rumors with musician Role Model, just six months after her significant split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress, 36, and the 28-year-old singer, real name Tucker Pillsbury, were photographed by TMZ getting "cozy" during a candlelight dinner with friends, reportedly laughing and enjoying the holiday spirit. Sources described the pair as inseparable, with Johnson reportedly "lying on" the musician and appearing "all cuddled up" throughout the evening. Images from the night show the two engulfed in conversation, with Johnson sipping a martini as they leaned intimately toward one another.
This public display follows an earlier sighting on December 19, where a tipster told the gossip account DeuxMoi they saw the pair at the Los Angeles cocktail bar Vandell. While the observer couldn't confirm the "vibes" initially, they noted the duo were "both beautiful in person."
This budding relationship marks a pivotal step forward for Johnson following the end of her eight-year romance with Martin, 48. Their June breakup was attributed to their twelve-year age gap and differing desires regarding children. Insiders previously revealed that Johnson had been "desperate" to make the relationship work, often left in tears during their "hot and cold" periods. However, recent reports suggest she is now "lighter and more at peace" with the finality of the split. She maintains a close bond with Martin's children, Apple, 21, and Moses, 19, as well as his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, who reportedly considers Johnson family.
