Drew Taggart and Mari Fonseca are becoming even closer.
Drew, a member of the DJ duo The Chainsmokers, married the 36-year-old model in Costa Rica on the last weekend of 2025.
Drew, 35, released a video of their wedding day, showing him dancing with Mari next to two horses on the beach at sunset in a lovely scene, with her jumping into his arms. He captioned the December 29 post, "WE ARE MARRIED!"
Their wedding takes place just over a year after Drew surprised Mari with a five-carat diamond ring in a Los Angeles restaurant where she was planning a girls' night with her pal Ivanka Trump.
"The first question I asked when I entered the restaurant door and saw him instead of the girls was, 'What are you doing here?'" Mari told people at the time. "We were both laughing the whole time, and he said, 'Do you know what this is?' And I said, 'Maybe,' haha. It was so cute!"
The proposal was a sweet, intimate time between the two of them, which they subsequently realized was the same spirit they desired for their wedding.
"Nobody was there at the time of the proposal because I knew I wanted the moment to be just between us," she told me. "When everyone arrived, I was already wearing the ring. Some people already knew, while others didn't—it was wonderful to see how happy everyone was for us!"
Mari mentioned during their engagement that she already had a vision for their wedding.
"We plan to keep it small," she continued. "I want it to be incredibly intimate, with only the people we genuinely adore. I don't want getting married to feel like 'work.' I want to enjoy it and feel vulnerable with our closest loved ones."
