Zach Bryan, the gravel-voiced singer-songwriter best known for his chart-topping hit "Something in the Orange," married Samantha Leonard on Wednesday in Spain, People has confirmed. He was 29.
He shared the news on Instagram, writing: "Tougher than the rest," referencing a Bruce Springsteen track from the 1987 album "Tunnel of Love." In the first official photo, posted on Dec. 31, Bryan is seen embracing Leonard, 28, as she wears a strapless white gown with a feather-trimmed hem. A video from the reception captured Bryan performing the Springsteen cover on a stage amidst floral arrangements, serenading his new bride.
Oklahoma-born Bryan was a prolific Navy veteran turned country sensation who frequently collaborated with other artists, releasing massive hits including the duet "I Remember Everything" with Kacey Musgraves, "Heading South," "Burn, Burn, Burn," "Sun to Me" and "Oklahoma Smokeshow."
Across the celebration, the couple was filmed hopping into a vintage convertible adorned with "Just Married" flags on the back. The romance began in July 2025, when Leonard posted a photo of the pair at Spain's Running of the Bulls. Bryan later commented "Spanish eyes" on her vacation photos. In a teasing turn, Bryan hinted at the nuptials the day prior, captioning a photo of his groomsmen with lyrics from the Black Eyed Peas' party anthem "I Gotta Feeling."
Bryan was previously married to Rose Madden from 2020 to 2021 and had high-profile relationships with Deb Peifer and podcaster Brianna LaPaglia. LaPaglia later accused the musician of emotional abuse, alleging he offered her $12 million and a house to sign an NDA regarding their relationship. He also briefly dated Hannah Duncan in early 2025. Though he hasn't addressed the claims directly, he subtly referenced his ex by posting a clip of himself setting fire to a flag for Barstool Sports, the media giant that hosts LaPaglia's podcast.
