Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially finalized their divorce, bringing an end to their nearly two-decade marriage.

Court documents obtained on Jan. 6 confirm that the Oscar-winning actress and the country music star reached a settlement just three months after Kidman filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. A Tennessee judge signed off on the agreement, making the split legally final.

According to the filing, both parties agreed to waive any claims to child support or spousal support. Each will also cover their own legal fees and expenses. The settlement further states that all shared property—including homes, vehicles, financial accounts, investments, and personal belongings—will be divided to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, with each retaining ownership of their individual assets.

Kidman and Urban share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. The couple also finalized a detailed parenting plan centered on joint decision-making and stability for their children.

Under the agreement, Kidman will serve as the primary residential parent, spending 306 days per year with their daughters. Urban will have custody for 59 days annually, including alternating weekends. Both parents will share responsibility for major decisions involving education, health care, and general welfare.

The parenting plan emphasizes respectful co-parenting, stating that both parents must provide a "loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship" for their children and

refrain from speaking negatively about one another. The agreement also encourages the girls to feel comfortable and supported in both households.

While a court appearance had initially been scheduled, Kidman waived her right to attend in person. Both parties agreed to resolve the divorce amicably without formal discovery, interrogations, or depositions. The documents note that neither party wished to engage in extensive legal proceedings to uncover assets or debts.

The split became public in September, when sources confirmed the couple had been living apart since early summer. At the time, insiders said Kidman had hoped to save the marriage, while the decision to separate ultimately came from Urban.

Despite the end of their marriage, both remain focused on co-parenting their daughters and moving forward without public conflict.
