Alaina Scott is not afraid to celebrate her child.
Months after Eminem's eldest daughter revealed that she and husband Matt Moeller are expecting their first child together, the couple hosted an adorable baby shower for their loved ones.
"Counting down the days till she's here," Alaina, 32, wrote in a February 1 Instagram post. "Truly the best day to celebrate our girl with the best village. She is so loved, and that is the greatest gift of all."
Indeed, her siblings Hailie Scott, 30, and Stevie Scott, 23, who the 8 Mile actor shares with ex-wife Kim Scott, were among the many special guests who attended the event. Alaina posted a sweet photo of herself hugging her siblings in front of a backdrop filled with pink and red baby rompers.
The expectant mother wore a ruby dress to highlight her growing bump, while Hailie wore a pastel silk gown to match the color scheme. Meanwhile, Stevie wore a brown top, black jeans, and matching shoes. But that wasn't the end of the couture; Alaina also donned a stunning white gown for a few photos with her husband, whom she married in 2023.
Hailie, who welcomed her 11-month-old son Elliot with husband Evan McClintock in March, expressed her affection for her future family member in the comments section, writing, "Love yous! Can't wait to meet and spoil my new little bestie."
Matt shared the sentiment, saying he "can't wait to meet our little girl" and watch his wife become "the best mother she could ever ask for.”
After all, the couple's journey to start a family has been long and emotional.
"The truth is, no one prepares you for how difficult TTC [trying to conceive] is and the emotional strain it causes you," Alaina explained in her November 22 Instagram post, in which she tears up after receiving a positive pregnancy test. "Every month hoping maybe this is it, maybe this is our turn."
Regarding how they "prayed for this miracle," the esthetician revealed that she and Matt manifested their baby girl in a special location.
"We wrote a prayer on the walls of our home as we built it, hoping for a healthy baby and a positive test in 2025," she told me. "These same walls are where I stood and told Matt our prayers had came true and where we will raise her. A true full circle moment.”
Alaina continued, “I can't wait to hold our little girl in my arms and love her with everything I've got. Keep growing, honey; I'll see you soon.”
