A defiant Ciara walked the red carpet with her NFL-star husband Russell Wilson at a Super Bowl charity event on Tuesday, just days after he appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Wilson's name came up in the latest release of the 'Epstein Files' by the Department of Justice last week.
While the inclusion of someone's name in the files does not imply any suspected crimes, the mere mention of Wilson led the quarterback to posting a denial of any association with Epstein.
'NOPE!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not TODAY satan!' Wilson posted while quote-tweeting the part of the files that mentioned his name.
He then went on to explain how and why he showed up in correspondence related to Epstein.
'Some Random plane broker tried to sell me a plane,' explained Wilson. 'I had no idea whose plane and never bought the plane. Never talked nor Never met the man. Thank God!!!'
But the couple looked far from fazed as they posed for pictures on the red carpet at an event in San Francisco ahead of the Super Bowl.
They were attending the third annual NFL Crucial Catch Dinner, an event organized by the American Cancer Society to honor Miami Dolphins running back Alexander Mattison.
