The actor addressed the situation during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 5 while promoting her new series, sharing brief but pointed thoughts when asked by a viewer about the controversy.
Responding to the question, Cuoco suggested a straightforward approach to handling uncomfortable group dynamics. "I mean, if you don't like being part of a group, just leave, baby," she said, brushing off the idea that the matter needed public debate. As the conversation continued, she doubled down on her position, adding, "You don't have to do that. Just leave... find a new group." Her remarks reflected her belief that stepping away quietly might be simpler than airing grievances publicly.
The exchange came after Tisdale French's personal essay, published earlier in the year, sparked widespread online discussion. In the piece, she described feeling excluded and emotionally drained within a circle of fellow mothers, comparing the experience to high school social dynamics. Writing about her decision to walk away, she noted that remaining in an environment that consistently caused discomfort was not worthwhile, emphasizing that leaving does not equate to being judgmental but rather honest about one's needs. She also recounted noticing social gatherings she was not invited to through posts and stories on social media, which contributed to a sense of distance from the group.
While the essay did not identify anyone involved, speculation quickly linked it to a group that had previously included high-profile figures such as Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor, and others. A representative later denied assumptions about specific individuals, though online conversation intensified when Duff's husband shared a parody post referencing the situation.
Cuoco's perspective also surfaced alongside displays of support within her own circle. Following the heightened attention on celebrity parenting groups, one of her friends posted a message celebrating their network, describing it as a "village" that provided reassurance and connection during early parenthood.
