Popular beauty influencer and TikTok star Mikayla Nogueira has officially announced she is divorcing her husband, Cody Hawken, after two years of marriage. Nogueira shared the news in an emotional video posted to her social media accounts, confirming that the couple reached the difficult decision late last year. In the heartfelt clip, Nogueira was visibly moved as she explained the situation to her millions of followers, acknowledging that she had spent several months processing the separation in private through therapy and the support of close friends and family.
Despite the split, Nogueira characterized the divorce as “very amicable,” emphasizing that she and Hawken maintain a deep, mutual respect for one another. She shared that the two still communicate daily and that Hawken frequently visits their home to have dinner and spend time with their pets. According to the influencer, the pair still love each other deeply and remain committed to each other’s well-being, but they have simply reached a point where they are entering a completely new chapter of their lives separately.
Nogueira was firm about her boundaries regarding the cause of the separation, stating she would not be sharing specific details in order to protect Hawken’s privacy. She specifically urged her audience not to speculate or link the divorce to Hawken’s well-documented journey with sobriety, including his 45-day stay in a rehabilitation facility in early 2025. She requested that fans leave past struggles out of the conversation to allow them both space to heal, noting that she intends to protect him throughout the legal process.
The couple, who first went public with their relationship in 2021 and wed in a lavish, highly publicized July 2023 ceremony, had been together for a total of five years. Nogueira noted that she does not regret their time together and will “cherish forever” the memories they built as a couple. Looking ahead, the POV Beauty founder assured her community that she will continue to create content and maintain her business commitments. While the transition marks a significant personal shift, she expressed optimism about the future, describing the split as a necessary step for both of them to find individual happiness.
