Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have parted ways. Multiple outlets have confirmed that the Holes star and Pearl actress separated privately last year, nearly a decade after their marriage and days after LaBeouf's arrest in New Orleans.
While they have yet to publicly address their relationship status, the couple, who have been together on and off since 2012, have previously spoken out about their 3-year-old daughter, Isabel, and the impact she has had on their lives.
"She is the most vibrant and enchanting spark of life. "It's a game changer," LaBeouf said about their baby on the Real Ones with Jon Bernthal podcast in August. "My girl and I had been in love for a long time, but I didn't realize it. I didn't really understand what love was until all this shit hit the fan and she was still around."
However, LaBeouf, who also settled a lawsuit with ex-FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett) last year, emphasized how much his life had changed "out of this newfound discovery of real love" in his relationship.
Likewise, Goth's world has been forever changed since entering parenthood.
"It's a really psychedelic experience to have a child," she told Elle in an interview published in October. "You're parenting her, but you're also parenting the version of you that existed when you were that age."
""The amount of love that you can feel," Goth continued, "she's the best gift of my life."
She hopes to maintain a close relationship with her as she grows older.
"I really hope to be something steady for her," Goth told me. "That no matter what happens in her life, she can come back to me. "No matter her age, if she's in a bad relationship or things aren't going well at work, she can always come home. She will always have a bed to sleep in and a home-cooked meal."
