YouTuber Jesse Ridgway, known online as McJuggerNuggets, says his wife Ashley's family has urged her to leave him following the couple's decision to terminate their pregnancy after a Down syndrome diagnosis.

In a lengthy Facebook post on June 8, Ridgway alleged that Ashley received text messages from relatives accusing him of abuse and brainwashing, with ultimatums to "leave immediately." He described the comments as "downright disgusting gossip" and "cowardice," insisting that Ashley made the decision with him and was not manipulated.

Ridgway contrasted Ashley's family's reaction with his own parents, who he said have shown unconditional support. He shared footage of Ashley receiving a care package from them shortly after the procedure, calling her "the sweetest and strongest woman" he knows.

"My parents drop off an extremely thoughtful gift basket and show unconditional love and support...meanwhile, her family has been nowhere to be found," he explained. "Some even going as far as joining in on the bandwagon hate PUBLICLY."

The couple, who married in October 2025, publicly revealed on June 3 that they had chosen to terminate the pregnancy after tests confirmed Trisomy 21. Ridgway explained that the diagnosis left them fearing their child would face severe health challenges.

Since announcing their decision, Ridgway said they have faced intense backlash online, including death threats and criticism from peers. He accused some of Ashley's relatives of joining in publicly, "kicking her while she's down at her lowest point."

Ashley has not directly commented but reposted Jesse's message on X, signaling her support. Ridgway acknowledged that sharing such personal details only deepens divides but said he felt compelled to speak out against what he sees as betrayal.

"When you're MIA, complicit and offensive during the hardest times of our life then you will never deserve to be there when it's good," he wrote.
