James Kennedy is going to be a father.
The Vanderpump Rules star revealed that his girlfriend Jordan Meyers is expecting their first child.
"We are thrilled to share that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together," Kennedy told People on June 11. "We had previously kept our relationship private, and this is the first time we are discussing it publicly. We wanted to keep things personal while we were developing our relationship, so we've been sharing our news secretly with close friends and family for some time.
Kennedy, 34, and Meyers, 23, initially connected on Instagram and then met in person at one of his shows.
"I'm from North Carolina, so I traveled to see James for what was meant to be 'three days,' but it turned into eight months together," she told the site. "The second I met James, we instantly felt such a strong spark between us."
Meyers is now four months pregnant, which Kennedy described as "the most incredible experience" as they have "watched our love grow and prepared to become parents together."
"As we prepare for this next chapter, it felt like the right moment to share it more widely," he said. "This is an extremely unique and meaningful time for us, and we feel deeply grateful to be stepping into this new chapter surrounded by love and support from our family and friends.”
The milestone follows James Kennedy's breakup with Ally Lewber, a relationship documented in the 10th and 11th seasons of "Vanderpump Rules" (VPR). They ended their relationship shortly after Kennedy's arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence in December 2024; however, prosecutors later dropped the charges. In January 2025, Lewber expressed on Instagram her support for Kennedy, wishing him success in his sobriety and healing, while also clarifying that their argument, which occurred outside his home, did not result in physical harm.
Following their split, Kennedy, 34, announced his commitment to personal growth and sobriety in a December 2024 statement. He emphasized the importance of focusing on loved ones and navigating challenges. By April 2025, Lewber, 30, remarked on Kennedy's progress, stating he continued to attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and was returning to his deejaying career, highlighting her pride in the positive changes he has made. She concluded by wishing him the best, affirming her belief in his potential despite his struggles.
