Bailee Ann DeFord is speaking up in the aftermath of her parents' split.
Following the announcement of her father Jelly Roll's and stepmother Bunnie XO's divorce, the youngster responded to the public's curiosity in what she considers a personal matter, asking fans not to become involved.
"I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in what is clearly a private family matter," Bailee posted on her TikTok Stories on June 16. "It's fkn crazy."
The 18-year-old added, "Go somewhere, y'all." Worry about your house, not mine.
While telling others to mind their own business, she hinted that she would share her thoughts on the divorce publicly in the future, saying, "I'm not speaking on it—yet."
The day before, Jelly Roll—who is also the father of Noah, 9, from a previous relationship—and Bunnie announced their separation after nearly ten years of marriage. In the divorce papers acquired by E! News, the "Son of a Sinner" singer listed the couple's separation date as May 9, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the split.
Fans of the former couple were surprised by their split, given how frequently they professed their love for one another. Furthermore, Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) launched her best-selling novel Unapologetic in February and appeared at several events with Jelly Roll in the weeks that followed, when they discussed their close relationship.
Although neither Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) nor Bunnie has publicly discussed their breakup, the Dumb Blonde podcast host shared a couple of cryptic messages amid the news.
For June 15, she lip-synced to Nickelback's song "How You Remind Me," which features the words, "It's not like you to say 'sorry' / I was waiting on a different story / This time, I'm mistaken / For handing you a heart worth breaking."
The 46-year-old also posted a topless photo of herself to her Instagram Stories the same day, captioned "She's getting her sparkle back."
