Ed Kelce is counting down the days until his youngest son ties the knot with Taylor Swift. Speaking at Jason Kelce's annual Team 62 fundraiser in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, on June 24, the proud dad couldn't hide his excitement.
"I am super excited," he said, adding of Swift, "She is a sweetheart. That is truly the girl next door."
The fundraiser, which supports the Eagles Autism Foundation, gave Ed a chance to reflect on both of his sons' commitment to giving back. He praised Jason's work in Philadelphia and Travis' efforts in Kansas City, saying they see community service as part of their responsibility.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 after confirming their relationship two years earlier. Swift shared the news with a playful Instagram caption: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."
Ed later revealed that Travis had proposed privately at his home in Lee's Summit, Missouri, before the couple went out for dinner. He recalled receiving a FaceTime call during a Philadelphia Eagles practice, where Travis and Taylor told him directly.
The wedding is set for early July, with July 3 reported as the date. While the exact venue hasn't been confirmed, speculation points to Manhattan locations such as Madison Square Garden, Central Park, or Radio City Music Hall.
George Kittle, Travis' longtime friend and co-founder of Tight End University, also spoke about the couple's plans. He revealed that guests have been told "absolutely no gifts," though he joked he might still give Kelce an old coin.
The wedding of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is set to be one of the summer's most talked-about celebrations.
