Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married inside Madison Square Garden. The final bill could reach $50 million. Insiders say the number is no exaggeration.

Celebrity event designer Edward Perotti broke down the true cost. He has staged more than $150 million in luxury events around the world. Perotti, who has designed more than two thousand events across his career, has also staged events near the Great Wall of China.Renting the arena alone runs about $1 million a day. That number climbs fast once labor gets added. Union crews, staging teams, florists, and lighting experts all take a cut.

Perotti pointed to the venue itself as a challenge. The building is 58 years old. It still carries decades of hot dog grease.

Even catering becomes complicated at that scale. Perotti said hot food has to reach every guest fast. Temperature and timing both become logistical nightmares.

Planners would need towering velvet drapes just to hide the seats. Some panels would have to rise 40 feet in the air. The goal is blocking sightlines across the arena floor.

Perotti settled on a staggering range. The total could land anywhere between $35 million and $50 million. Lighting, florals, and catering all push the number higher.

He insisted the price tag isn't the real magic. "Expensive does not necessarily mean better." He said authenticity and detail matter far more than money.

Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan attended the ceremony in person. All three later spoke about the wedding on Good Morning America. Each one raved about how personal the night still felt.

Perotti called the entire wedding a Herculean achievement. Nothing about pulling it off inside Madison Square Garden was simple. He never doubted the couple would succeed.
