Megan Fox is making it clear that turning 40 hasn't dimmed her confidence. The actress recently shared a series of striking lingerie photos on Instagram, sparking backlash from one user who called the post "unbelievably embarrassing for a 40‑year‑old mom."
Fox, who is mom to Noah, 13, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 9, with ex Brian Austin Green, and Saga Blade, 15 months, with ex Machine Gun Kelly, wasn't about to let the remark slide. She jumped into the comments with a sharp response: "Which one of my exes is this."
The photos showed Fox in black mesh lingerie with lace underwear and a sheer veil, posing against an orange backdrop. In one shot, she kneeled against a chair with her hands in a prayer position, while another featured a glowing halo above her head.
She captioned the post with a cryptic line: "Men would have them believe disobedience was Eve's vice, when it was her greatest virtue."
Fans quickly came to her defense, with one writing, "fun fact, you can still be hot at any age," while another added, "You're acting like she's 80 lmaoo shut the hell up."
Fox has been candid about her struggles with body dysmorphia and insecurities. In a 2021 interview with British GQ, she admitted, "I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities." She explained that fame magnified her self‑doubt, but over time she worked to reclaim her self‑image.
She described how she once withdrew from public life, saying she had to do "a lot of work to remove that feeling of being a victim and to realize that it was a lesson."
Her latest post shows that transformation. By embracing her body and unapologetically sharing images that celebrate her confidence, Fox is showing that she feels free from the insecurities that once weighed her down.
