North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has dropped a horror-inspired music video for her track "Aishite" just days after canceling her debut tour.
The video, released August 7, shows North wandering through eerie, abandoned spaces like a school and an arcade. Styled with neon blue hair, piercings, and a defiant stare, she delivers raw lyrics about betrayal and isolation. "Just love me / Everyone betrays me," she sings, as blood drips across the screen and her face flickers in and out of focus.
Other lines include "Can't be no one's friend / I can't let nobody in" and "Can't depend on anyone / The sufferin' won't end." The visuals lean heavily into anime-horror aesthetics, showing the tone of her debut EP N0rth4evr, released May 1.
The timing of the release is striking. Just a week earlier, North abruptly canceled her Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana, which was set to launch August 5 in Dallas. On Instagram, she told fans she was disappointed but promised "something special" soon. "I was really excited to go on tour w Molly Santana. Sadly, it isn't happening anymore."
Santana also issued an apology, acknowledging the inconvenience for ticket holders and vowing to return to the stage in the near future. "To everyone who bought tickets to the tour i sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there. nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and i hope to see you soon."
Despite the setback, North's music career has been steadily gaining traction. Earlier this year, she signed with independent label Gamma, joining a roster that includes Mariah Carey. She has already performed alongside her father at massive shows in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Tampa.
