Travis Kelce is still looking back fondly on his wedding to Taylor Swift, describing the celebration as the best night of his life.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end opened up about the couple's July wedding during a recent ESPN interview with teammate Patrick Mahomes. When host Chris Berman asked Kelce about reports that he had married the pop superstar, Kelce confirmed the news with a joke before sharing how meaningful the night had been.

"This is true, this is true," Kelce said, even teasing Berman by asking, "Didn't I see you there?"

Kelce then reflected on the celebration, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"It was the best night of my life," he said. "Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be."

The NFL star credited the people who attended for making the occasion particularly memorable, pointing to the love surrounding them throughout the evening.
Mahomes, who was also among the guests, had his own highlight from the celebration. The quarterback admitted he managed to get some dancing in, despite not knowing whether he would be able to after dealing with injuries the previous season.

"My perspective, it was a lot of fun," Mahomes said. "I did a little dancing."

Kelce had already spoken about the wedding earlier this month on his New Heights podcast, where he described the evening as something he and Swift would never forget.

"Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up," he said during the Sept. 2 episode, recalling the vows, the guests and the celebrations that followed.

He also praised Madison Square Garden for helping the couple create the intimate and private atmosphere they wanted despite the scale of the event.

According to Kelce, another key part of the ceremony was Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding after becoming ordained in New York.

Kelce spoke highly of the actor, calling him "the f--king best person on this planet" and praising the way he handled the ceremony.

The pair began dating after Kelce publicly expressed his interest in Swift in 2023, announced their engagement in 2025 and eventually exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden.
