Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List” Steaming on Netflix Starting January 1st, 2025, Netflix will add to its archives one of the most critically acclaimed films by Steven Spielberg, Schindler’s List. This powerful historic drama that picked up a total of seven Academy Awards follows Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler, a German businessman credited with saving the lives of more than 1,000 Jews during the Holocaust.

Many people consider Schindler’s List to be one of Spielberg’s best films and most treasured. It dove into the horrors of the Holocaust and how one man was able to make a difference in thousands of lives. Where Nazis were determined to kill every last one of them, Schindler put everything on the line to do all he could to save as many as possible.

Liam Neeson as Schindler is nothing short of phenomenal. He conveys the internal struggle of Schindler, which turns this cold, calculating businessman into an emotional and compassionate human being. The meltdown at the end of the movie is truly heart-wrenching and really shows his remarkable range as an actor.

The rest of the cast also does a fabulous job. Ralph Fiennes plays the chillingly brutal Nazi commandant Amon Göth, and Ben Kingsley does his usual nuanced job as Itzhak Stern, Schindler’s accountant.

Schindler’s List is not just a film about the Holocaust; it is a testimony to the bravery and humanity of characters such as Oskar Schindler. The direction by Spielberg, combined with the haunting score by John Williams, serves as a cinematic experience that may be heart-wrenching yet simultaneously inspiring.

If you like films about World War II, Steven Spielberg films, or even poignant storytelling, then Schindler’s List is a must-see. It is a true classic due to its historical importance and the emotional impact it causes among its viewers worldwide.

With Netflix soon to have this masterpiece in its arsenal of streaming, it’s time to revisit-or find-this great film. Do not miss the chance to enjoy one of Spielberg’s crowning achievements on the big screen once more.
