The machine gun Kelly is examining herself. Two months after splitting from Megan Fox, with whom he is currently expecting a child, the "Bloody Valentine" singer seemed to be reflecting on himself.
On February 3, MGK posted a picture to his Instagram Stories showing him sitting in what looked to be a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, holding a copy of Paul Coelho's 1988 book The Alchemist, a red notebook, and a hand-shaped bookmark. He was dressed in blue sweatpants and a pink sweater. The 34-year-old added that he was “journaling” on top of the picture, adding that he was reading the literary classic “for the 4th time.” His breakup with Megan was made public in December, one month after she declared her pregnancy.
Following his new chapter, the rock star, whose real name is Colson Baker, appears to be going through a lot of internal and external changes. He debuted a shaggy beard and man bun on Instagram in January, replacing his typical clean-shaven face and bleach-blond crew cut.
The black ink tattoo that now covers the majority of MGK's upper body was further emphasized in the shirtless photo, which showed him gazing out a window while only sporting loose camo pants and white underwear. Additionally, his complete wellness change may include the eye-catching body art. After all, he said, "For spiritual purposes only," as the caption for the photo he posted on social media when he first unveiled the tattoo in February 2024.
The musician is still dealing with personal issues even though he seems to be concentrating on taking care of himself. Megan's ex-husband Brian Austin Green, with whom she has children Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, seemed to criticize him earlier this month for being unauthentic.
In a since-deleted Instagram Stories post on February 2, Brian included one of MGK's tracks along with the words, "Just be honest for once in your life." "You will try to drag other people if you care too much about how you are seen."
Additionally, it wasn't the first time the Beverly Hills, 90210 star defended his ex. Following the announcement of her breakup with the musician, Brian sent the expectant father a scathing message.
"He's in his thirties, right?" Brian inquired as he spoke to TMZ at the time. “In your 30s, f--k. Grow up. Like, she’s pregnant.”
