Nicole Kidman comes here for magic, not money.

The Oscar winner reflected on the creation of her now-iconic AMC Theaters campaign, which appeared in September 2021, and admitted she was motivated by a genuine desire to increase movie attendance following the COVID-19 outbreak rather than a large paycheck.

"[I] called in all these favors," she revealed during her interview on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show on March 2. "We did it for nothing, and then it went off."

Indeed, Nicole, 58, assembled a creative team that included cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth and scriptwriter Billy Ray to bring the extensively marketed pre-roll part to life.
