In a moment to signal a multiyear innovation super cycle, Nike showcased its never-before-seen products for athletes this summer, its world-class roster of athletes, and the power of its proprietary Nike Air technology during an unforgettable “Nike On Air”  2024 event at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.

The event showcased Nike's commitment to merging sports and fashion, featuring top athletes as models for their latest release.The black athletes at the event wooed the audience with their stunning outfits, showcasing the perfect blend of style and performance.

Eliud Kipchoge , the world record holder in marathon running, was one of the athletes who graced the event with his presence and showcased the new collection. Kipchoge was featured wearing a bold black terminator-style outfit. He modeled a futuristic trench coat featuring puff shoulders.

His gloss-black look, which he complimented with shades, gloves, and baggy trousers,making him look like he was straight out of Star Wars2 complete with sleek black athletic apparel and futuristic footwear evoking the signature style of acclaimed rapper Kanye West much to the delight of the audience.

While some praised Kipchoge for his bold fashion sense, others expressed surprise, as it diverged from his usual attire associated with his athletic pursuits.A segment of Kipchoge's fanbase felt that the outfit was not in line with his established style as a world-class athlete, advising him to stick to his athletic endeavors.Despite differing opinions on these fashion choices, many applauded Kipchoge for his versatility.

Faith Chepngetich Kipyegon the current world record holder for the 1,500 metres and mile, both set in 2023 was also spoted in the event along side Eliud KIpchoge.She was also dressed in all-black outfit,including shorts, a jacket, gloves, socks, and shades to compliment the look, she was also spotted posing for the photos and videos, standing next to Williams who was standing on her right.Richardson was standing at the front of the stage, having won an all-black Nike outfit which complimented Kipyegon in her all black outfit.Kipyegon's all-black outfit exuded a powerful and confident aura.Her sleek black outfit showcased her athleticism, while also incorporating futuristic elements with its clean lines and innovative design.

Serena Williams, known for her dominance in women's tennis, brought her signature style to the event. She opted for a more vibrant and daring look, sporting a colorful athleisure ensemble. Her outfit featured a mix of bold patterns and bright hues, showcasing her fearless personality on and off the court.she shared glimps of her look during the event,where she had donned an all-beige on her socials.

 Meanwhile, Sha'Carri Richardson, known for her electrifying performances on the track, embraced a bold and edgy style.She wore a fierce all-black Nike ensemble with a mix of leather and mesh materials and a futeristic orange shoes that resembeled the air max 720. Statues of six titans of sport, poised in midair and glowing in signature Nike orange: Nike athletes LeBron James, Alexia Putellas, Bebe Vio, Kylian Mbappe, Sha’Carri Richardson and Victor Wembanyama. Each statue was between 8 and 11 meters high and had an augmented-reality interface that unlocked the athletes in action and their Air-powered footwear.NIKE did a great job this time.
