When we watch Hollywood movies we get a certain kind of view of bikers that’s quite frightening. You just get a mental image of a sturdy guy with scary tattoos all over, dressed in a black leather jacket and big black boots and obviously a quite scary face on his motorcycle. The first impression you get of such a person is that of a bully, right? Well, that’s not how a certain group of bikers are.

Have a look at BACA.

In Arizona there is a group of bikers clad in leather who stand out from the biker gang image. They belong to the Arizona chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse International (BACA) with a mission; ensuring that every child feels safe and free, from fear.

Imagine this scene; A cul-de-sac in Gilbert, Arizona. An 11 year old girl, a survivor of abuse anxiously waits in her driveway. The sound of approaching motorcycles grows louder until a group of bikers arrives. Their boots echo on the pavement as they sport leather vests emblazoned with the motto; “No child should endure fear.”

These bikers aren’t just out for a ride; they’re driven by a purpose. Each member has their road name, like Pipes, Nytro, D’Animal, Rock, Pumpkin, Tree, Sassy, Rembrandt, Harmony, Shiraz, Uno, Smiles, Tool, Mo Money, Bigg Dogg, Fat Daddy, Ghost Daddy, Father Time and Trucker. Their presence commands respect yet exudes empathy.

Their mission? To offer abused children a sense of safety and security.

These dedicated bikers support survivors by escorting them to court hearings, school and any other necessary destinations. They are available, round the clock always prepared to protect these individuals from their fears.

The girl, in the driveway faced betrayal from a family member she once trusted. Despite the perpetrator being now the scars of trauma remain. However upon the bikers arrival she finds solace in their presence. They serve as guardians, defenders who stand against fears hold.

Bikers Against Child Abuse is not just a club; it’s a lifeline. Their engines roar, not with aggression, but with determination. They ride for hope, resilience, and healing. “…in the eyes of these leather-clad warriors, every child is worth fighting for”

If we embrace such then the world will turn to be a better place
