Paris St Germain (PSG) will face Chelsea in the final of FIFA’s revamped 32-team Club World Cup on Sunday, capping off a month-long tournament in the United States that, while sparking debates about the weather and calendar, has delivered drama akin to a nations’ World Cup.

Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest to sign Sweden international Anthony Elanga for a fee of $75 million. According to sources from BBC Sport, the deal could be finalized within the week.

The second of the Club World Cup semi-finals saw serial winners, Real Madrid, take on current Champions League holders, Paris Saint-Germain, in what was sure to be a mouth-watering contest. Manchester United have expressed their intention to host the 2035 Women's World Cup final in a proposed new 100,000-seat stadium. The club revealed plans in March to construct a £2 billion "iconic" venue near Old Trafford, which would become the largest stadium in the United Kingdom. Despite skepticism outside the club, United remain optimistic that co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe's target of completing the project within five to six years is achievable.

Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has been sentenced to one year in prison by a Spanish court for tax evasion. However, he will not serve time behind bars. The case relates to his first tenure at Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015, during which he was accused of failing to declare income and evading taxes amounting to 1 million euros (approximately £830,000).
